We are looking for volunteers to put flags on veterans graves at Holyhood Cemetery in Chestnut Hill.
For American Legion members, in lieu of our regular monthly meeting in May, we are looking to schedule a date and time to meet at the Holyhood Cemetery to volunteer putting the flags out. Our goal is to put all the veterans flags out before May 11th. For all those interested, please contact Commander Hendrickson at 617-953-3915.

It is with deepest sympathy that I announce the passing of one of our fellow American Legion veteran brothers — U.S. Navy and Korean War Veteran – American Legion Chaplain and Member-VFW Member Allen Red MacPherson passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020.
Allen’s service is private and will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Bell O’Dea Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Walnut Hills Cemetery at 1 p.m. and is not private.
